(Notice for Virus Infected
Computer)
If you notice your system automatically countdown (say RPC is
terminated.....message) and shutdown / reboot your PC
in 30sec, then your computer has been infected with
m.blast worm virus. or Sasser virus.
To remove these virus, please check AntiVirus
website. for example, www.sarc.com (Symantec
Website) to get remove tool
Also, please turn on your Firewall immediately
| How to Enable Firewall for DMRS system (Windows XP Only)? | ||
| 1. | Unplug Network
Cable first. (from the back of your computer) |

| 2. | Shutdown Your PC for 30sec, then Turn On your PC with No network cable connect. |

| 3. | Go to Start Menu, and open Control Panel. If you are using classic start menu, go Start -> Settings -> Control Panel
Double click icon on Network Connections |

| 4. | You should see this icon, if you have a
network card. If you don't have network card, you don't need to see this page at all. |

| 5. | Right Click and choose Properties (left click) |  |
| 6. | You should see properties page on the
right. Click Advanced Tab |

| 7. | Check square box , Protect...... |  |
| 8. | This instruction (8~19) is for DMRS
system Firewall Port# opening: Please follow these steps: Click Settings at the bottom |

| 9. | click Web Server (HTTP) to highlight the
line. Choose Edit at the bottom

| 10. | Then, it should popup this picture.

RemoteView, Click Add |

picture. Type RemoteView in the first line Type your computer name in the second line.

in the 3rd line. Click OK when finish. |

| 13 | Same thing, Click Add button. After Click add button, you should see this picture. Type Web1 in the first line Type your computer name in the second line. (see 10) Type 4550
in the 3rd line. Click OK when finish. |

| 14 | Same thing, Click Add button. After Click add button, you should see this picture. Type Web2 in the first line Type your computer name in the second line. (see 10) Type 5550
in the 3rd line. Click OK when finish. |

| 15 | Now, it is completed your settings. Click OK when finish. If you need to use other services, or other servers. You need to add in here, too.
Web Server use port
80 RPB server using port 5066. Connect to Center use port 20001 VNC use port 5900 |

| 17 | When Firewall is enabled, you should see a little orange color Lock Icon on the top right corner. |
